DCGA Graduate Alma Barcelo:
"I love this job. Although I was new to this kind of work when I started,
I have found it to be one of the most important things I’ve
ever done. Working here, and getting the kind feedback of the residents
makes me feel like I’m really doing something with my life."
We are looking for people who are compassionate, have an interest
in health care and want to work with elders and people who are disabled.

DCGA Graduate Tricia Shosie:
In this type of work there
are sometimes difficult moments, but it’s so rewarding, I don’t
really see it as a challenge. Sometimes residents who are usually very
easy to care for, well at times difficult things come up. But even so,
that’s one thing about the work I enjoy, it’s always different.
Direct caregivers are dedicated, caring individuals who have consciously decided that they want to make a difference for people in need.
